Paul Copsey has been a professional wedding and portrait photographer for 7 years but it is only in the last 18 months that Paul has grown his photography business, STUDIO SW19 from being a one man band into a strong team of five people. Paul considers his greatest career achievement has been to earn a living from his passion. Paul says "The combination of career and hobby means every day I can look forward to going to work with a spring in my step".
Thus, photography isn't merely Paul's job, it's been his passion right back to about the age of 12. In his spare time he can be found photographing his two daughters, landscapes, street scenes or traditional black & white.
Paul is both a member of professional bodies such as the AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photographers), the PPAQ (Professional Photographers Association of Queensland) and amateur bodies such as BCG (Brisbane Camera Group). Close to Paul's heart is ability to mix with other photographers in order to inspire each other and to promote photography as an Art form that it certainly is.
